Institutional & Commercial Design
All Universities and Colleges have a set of design principles and standards with which the architect must comply. The new projects’ design should reflect its own time and place, but also pay tribute to the enduring values of elegance, quality and durability. The building’s architecture should meaningfully contribute to a coherent and memorable identity for the campus as a whole. The following projects are a few examples of the campus projects that Ed led early-planning and design direction with project teams as noted and related design consultants.
Corporate design work is much about branding and should reflect the client’s values, purpose and also reinforce the visual corporate identity. We like to think of it as “part art and part science”. Our goal is always to meet program, budget and schedule parameters.
